Member Of The Month (August)

It has been quite some time since our last Member Of The Month (MOTM) award, so we thought we should bring it back.

I have been super busy recently, training clients and on a personal level, too. But as the saying goes, "The show must go on".

Our last award was handed out in April, to Darrelle Merritt. Since then we have have been working with a gentleman who has been training consistently, running his own business and also trying to manage stress levels. Easier said than done!

I'm delighted to award the MOTM for August to,

Travis Haddrick!

Fulla Strength and Conditioning

Trav has been training with us two times per week, on Monday's and Friday's after work, since June and has been making some tremendous strides throughout his sessions.

He has spent a lot of time learning the basics of how we programme and following our Big-4 movements, Push, Pull, Hinge and Squat, each session. Now, this doesn't mean he does the same workout plan-- far from it!

He has learnt 6 different types of squat, multiple lunge variations, how to deadlift with different implements, as well as some 'fan-favourite' body-weight exercises. 

When we start the process of coaching our new clients, we look for how they respond to the information given and communicating our message.

Will they be a 'good fit' to work with us and are they coachable?

Are you able to listen to instructions, ask questions and also put what you learn into practice???

We did a short interview with Travis to give you some insight into his journey and experience working with us so far, you can read that below.


Q1- WHEN DID YOU FIRST START TRAINING WITH FULLA SC (MONTH/YEAR)?

A- June this year (2017).

Q2- WHAT KEEPS BRINGING YOU BACK?

A- The positive results I'm achieving and the great feeling after a solid workout.

Q3- WHAT RESULTS HAVE YOU ACHIEVED SO FAR?

A- Increased core strength, overall muscle increase and a better understanding of what my body needs in regards to not only exercise, but also nutrition and the mental side of things.

Q4- WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 3 MONTHS (IN TERMS OF RESULTS)?

A- Just continuing the journey of becoming the healthiest and fittest version of myself.

Q5- WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT THE SERVICES PROVIDED AT FULLA SC?

A- Jesse not only provides great workouts, but he helps me understand why we do what we do in the gym. Also, the extra effort he puts in other areas such as providing books, weekly check-ups, nutritional information and keeping us (all clients) focused on our goals.


We are very proud of the attitude Trav has shown towards his training, making some nutritional changes and also building his mindset to continue finding the bright spots in what he does each week.

Not every week has been (or will be) perfect. But, Trav is learning that that's ok and to just get back on track by making the next choice a good one.

That is what it's all about!

Well done to Travis for continuing his great start and I know that there will only be more success coming his way.
