Like any strength tool you use, it is only ever as effective, or useful, as the person operating it. The kettlebell is no different.

While it has the full potential to help you build muscle, increase power, lose body-fat, and become more athletic

…it also has the ability to do damage and injure you if you don’t know how to control it.

That is, if you’re not paying attention, you don’t know what you’re doing or haven't had the appropriate instruction.

It’s for this reason you should always seek out a professional coach/certified instructor to show you the ropes, and assist you in learning the skills and correct techniques.

That’s where I come in, with my deep knowledge and understanding of kettlebell training!

Hi, I’m Jesse Fuller

Your trusted Kettlebell Instructor in Perth.

I can help you maximise your power and strength through Hardstyle Kettlebell Training.

The great thing about my hands-on coaching and instruction is this. The skills your learn and the training principles I teach you will last you a lifetime.

Well after our first session working together!

A saying we have in the StrongFirst community (the gold standard in Kettlebell instruction worldwide) is to treat your kettlebell as if it is always loaded.

Meaning, even if you are lifting what you consider to be a light weight, treat it with respect — as if you are lifting a heavy one.

Ask yourself: “Would I be willing to do this with a 100-pound (48kg) kettlebell?”

Safety first and foremost.

Once you can demonstrate the correct technique, then and only then can you add the layers of progression: load, density, and intensity.

Proper technique is ALWAYS priority #1.

“The Super Six” Exercises

In kettlebell training, we don’t waste time doing a bunch of different exercises every week. That won’t help to improve your skill level and take your technique to the highest level possible!

And it certainly isn’t going to yield improvements in how you move, build muscle, or develop consistent gains in strength.

Our programming consists of performing six big, multi-joint movements on a consistent basis.

By doing this, you get skilled in all the exercises, super strong, and you master them. Opposed to being mediocre at everything by trying to 'do it all’.

‎”I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.” - Bruce Lee

We stick to what works best.

The basics — performed with precision.

The six movements that I instruct, and can help you with are;

  1. The Squat

  2. The Swing

  3. The Clean

  4. The Press

  5. The Get-Up

  6. The Snatch

Simple, NOT easy.

These exercises work your entire body, hard.

When done correctly, you will develop full-body strength without having to do ten to twenty different movements.

Occasionally, we will change up and alter the exercises we do to keep training fun and enjoyable. Because training should be fun!

And it should give you more than it takes out of you.

The way to keep training interesting through a process called “specialised variety”.

These are small changes, variations, or progressions of the exercises listed. They are designed to test your mettle, hone your skills, and make things easier/harder based upon how you feel on a given training day.

This is the art of coaching. It’s not just about smashing you or pushing you until you puke.

What Are You Waiting For?

SFG2 Certified Instructor - Jesse Fuller

If you’re ready to discover all that kettlebell training in Perth has to offer, the first step is for you to come in for your very first lesson.

This will allow me to see where you are right now on your kettlebell journey.

Together, we will discuss your goals, what it is that you want to get out of kettlebell training in Perth, and how I can help you achieve your goals.

Another important factor to consider is your previous and current training history, along with any injuries (if any) or movement restrictions that might affect your ability to use kettlebells safely.

Whether you are just starting out, or consider yourself intermediate or advanced with kettlebells, you’ll benefit from our coaching.

It pays to get hands-on instruction to improve your technique, learn new drills, and have a ‘coach’s eye’ on your technique — especially if you’re lifting weights quickly and/or for high reps.

That is a big part of what kettlebells are all about, after all.

Enough of the theory. Let’s get to the fun stuff, the lifting and swinging of kettlebells!
