Member Of The Month (March)

We have now entered the month of April, which means it's that time where I reflect back on everyone's training throughout March and also announce the latest winner of my Member Of The Month (MOTM).

The month of March saw this man make huge strides forward with his training and really go to the next level!

Which is quite fitting, considering 2018 is going to be a life-changing year for him.

Announcing the winner for March -- Jon Bailes.

Fulla Strength and Conditioning

Jon is one of these people that I just love being around. He is happy to give new exercises a go, has a smile on his face and pushes himself as much as he can each and every session.

It's no wonder the last program saw him make such progress!

Jon quietly goes about his training, has been working on some nutritional adjustments and has recently started drinking what I call 'Hulk Juice', which may have given him a bit of extra oomph during his sessions.

In all seriousness, Jon's tremendous work ethic, ability to keep pushing himself and also work hard on developing his technique, are why I chose him as the winner.

I sat down with Jon and conducted a short interview about his training and journey with us. You can view that below.

Q1- WHEN DID YOU FIRST START TRAINING WITH FULLA SC (MONTH/YEAR)?

A- After a brief stint in 2016, I started training consistently with FullaSC in October 2017 in the small-group training program.

Q2- WHAT KEEPS BRINGING YOU BACK?

A- In one word - Jesse. I enjoy training with him and the others in the group; and I enjoy the variety of exercises and techniques we learn in each session. And despite the hard work and commitment required, I always feel great after each training session (until the soreness kicks in!).

Q3- WHAT RESULTS HAVE YOU ACHIEVED SO FAR?

A- Over the last few months, I have seen my muscle definition and core strength increase. As a result, my self-confidence has also increased and my general health and well-being has improved. I have also lost some of the middle-age spread (I hit 40 last year) through the exercise and the nutrition advice Jesse has given me.

Q4- WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN 3 MONTHS (IN TERMS OF RESULTS)?

A- My goal is carry on the same path and see a continued improvement in my core strength and body shape, which will also help me maintain my general health. I also found a concept 2 rower in the small gym where I live, so I will hopefully have just completed the FullaSC 12-week rowing program. And, I will be a new dad in three months time so hopefully the training will support me in that role, too!

Q5- WHAT DO YOU ENJOY MOST ABOUT THE SERVICES PROVIDED AT FULLA SC?

A- Just read my review on the Fulla SC Facebook page. In a nutshell, I enjoy the personal advice, support, and attention to detail that FullaSC provide both inside and outside the gym.

The small-group training environment suits Jon really well as he gets to experience a fresh program every 4 weeks, along with developing new techniques and exposing his body to different positions, which is often neglected.

Jon has also developed a great relationship with the other ladies who attend the sessions, as we work in small teams.

There are always laughs to counter the hard training which goes on and provides a nice balance to the session.

Fulla Strength and Conditioning

Congratulations, Jon. You've worked hard for a long time and are a very worthy winner!

Until next time,

Keep training consistently.

Jesse
