Action Cures Anxiety

You feel most anxious and worried when you aren't doing anything.

You feel like this when you are sitting around not being active.

You feel this way when you are thinking about things.

About your lack of exercise. Not eating the right foods. Drinking too much alcohol. Going out too frequently. Spending beyond your means. Avoiding the work that needs to be done.

This leads to over-thinking, over-analysing and over-complicating the situation.

It also leads to under-performing.

As in, you just stop.

You become paralysed by fear, uncertainty and doubt.

All of these things are happening in your mind...

...because your body isn't moving.

When you stop thinking and start DOING, you will notice your anxiety starts to fade.

It begins to disappear because you are doing something about the issues you're experiencing.

Will it help you work through tough times? Yes.

Most people get stuck inside their thoughts and build up these problems in their head.

Through movement and action, they can be overcome;

  • Had a nightmare day at work? Go take a walk in nature to free your mind.

  • Had a fight with your partner? Go take out your frustrations on the weights.

  • Had a shit sleep last night? Go take a cold shower and wake yourself up.

  • Had a bad week of eating? Go grab a piece of fruit and prepare something healthy to eat.

  • Had a late night and drank too much? Go drink a glass of water to get back on track.

You have two options in situations like this

  1. Continue to fixate on the problem

  2. Find a solution to it

Problems don't resolve themselves.

YOU are the one responsible and in charge of doing that.

Whatever fear you have right now, or anxiety you are feeling, that is what you need to do.

Tackle it head-on.

"The thing you want to do the least, is the thing you need to do the most".

Don't run from the issue. Run towards it.

And overcome it THROUGH ACTION!
